Weight Loss Program

Weight Loss ~ Health Counseling ProgramLosing weight has to be one of the top reasons why people seek advice from a dietitian or nutritionist. US weight loss market is over 60-billion dollar industry nowadays, but despite all the researches, discoveries and inventions, dieting and weight loss is still one of the most confusing, stressful and difficult things in many people’s lives.

It doesn’t have to be. It is not – when approached in the right way…

If you are on a quest to achieve the body you’ve always dreamed about, I would like to offer my knowledge, help and support!

In our initial session we will conduct a Health History Exploration and cover topics like overall state of your heath, eating and snacking habits, your daily routine, and your lifestyle in general. We will also briefly touch other areas of your life, which may be contributing to your weight issues. Taking basic measurements like your weight and height, body fat, BMI, etc. will help us to create a baseline from which you will be able to track your progress throughout the program.

Based on the information from the initial session, I will develop your very own, highly personalized weight loss plan, which will include:

  • Meal plan with specific foods and combinations that are best suited for you, with the right proportions and times for each meal
  • Sample 2 week menu, shopping lists, and sample recipes
  • Recommendations on health- and weight loss-promoting supplements and herbs
  • Suggestions for health- and weight loss-promoting daily practices

As we go over the plan, I will explain not only what to eat, but also the reasons why certain foods are better for your body, why they should be prepared in a specific way, and eaten at a certain time.

Our next session will take place within 2 weeks. At that time we will review your progress, assess what works and what doesn’t, tweak and fine-tune your meal plan, and continue food education.

After the three initial 50-minute sessions, we will check in every 1 to 2 weeks for 30 minutes to continue education, make adjustments to the plan, to track your progress, and make sure that the program is working for you.

The goal of the program is to help you not only to lose weight and look better, but to feel better overall, and create lasting results. As you are going through the program, not only will you be smiling at the numbers on your scale and your measuring tape, but you will also likely:

  • Relieve stress and anxiety; notice improved sleep
  • Feel more energetic and alive
  • Reduce food cravings
  • Look brighter and lighter, enjoy clearer skin and shinier hair
  • Enjoy improved mood and state of mind

I am a strong believer that 80% of our healthy weight depends on the foods we eat, 10% – on exercising, and the last 10% – on genetics… That explains why heavy workouts that are followed by burgers, fries and soda drinks don’t give people the results they are looking for… Changing what and how you eat, combined with reasonable physical activity will give you sturdy, lasting weight loss and the body you feel great in!
